NEW CATALOG TIME IS HERE!
Have you been checking your calendar checking off the days until May 3rd? That's the day the new 2022 - 2023 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog will be released!
As a Demonstrator, we are permitted to view the catalog early and place a Pre-order to receive some of the new items early. If you follow other Demonstrators, you probably have already seen the new In Colors --- they are bright and beautiful! And maybe even some of the new stamp sets, dies, and Designer Papers. There's nothing so exciting for us to receive our catalog and our new "goodies".
Today's blog post is the May Demonstrators' Blog Hop sponsored by Bruno and Kylie Bertucci as part of their Stampin' Up!© Demonstrator Training Program. We are so happy that you could join this blog hop. You will be introduced to many new stamp sets and dies and projects using the new InColors. Although there maybe over 40 Demonstrators participating, I recommend that you visit as many blogs as possible. Everyone is so talents and with new exciting products to share, I'm sure you'll be delighted to view all the beautiful creations.
Participants in the Stampin' Up! program, OnTour, received a copy of the new catalog and a Stamp set prior to PreOrder. The stamp set I received is titled: Good Feelings. It contains several sentiments that can be used as central to your cards. I love this type of stamp set as you can use any Designer Paper. Merely create the base card and then add the sentiment which meets your needs. They can be simple cards or full of techniques and embellishments. It's all up to you.
Keeping with the "Thank You' card theme for this blog, my cards below contain those two words.
This card uses Pacific Point card stock as the base card. The flower in the Reason to Smile stamp set (being carried over to the new Annual Catalog) is stamped three times. Each time, I reined the stamp and moved it slightly to the left. The three flowers were stamped on Basic White card stock with the last one stamped slightly off the card stock. I then stamped only the flower top with Fresh Fresia ink. I used the Soft Succulent ribbon to hide where the stems cross. Finally, I stamped the Thank You with Fresh Freesia ink and fussy cut around the words. A few Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels (from the January - July Mini Catalog) were added for sparkle. The card below was made with Calypso Coral card stock as the base. A second layer of Basic White was used, followed by a piece of the Waves of The Ocean Designer Paper (reverse side). The sentiment was stamped in Calypso Coral ink on Daffodil Delight card stock. White Baker's Twine was used to create a small bow and Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels were added for sparkle.
We, Demonstrators, who participate in this blog hop, appreciation your viewing our creations and providing comments to help us build a successful Stampin' Up! business and reach some goals we have set. To move to other blogs, merely select the one you'd like to travel to next from the list below. Have fun hopping! Here is the List of the other bloggers:
New PAPER PUMPKIN KIT for May:
As you may be aware, Paper Pumpkin kits provide a great way to create. They're perfect for taking to crops or vacations as they contain everything you need, except scissors and glue. Of course, you can add embellishments of your choice and even find alternative suggestions to make your cards unique, but these are not necessary to complete the projects in the kits. For more information on subscribing to Paper Pumpkin, contact me at: creatingtreasures123@gmail.com. And check back here and on my Facebook Page: Creating Treasures with Janice for more alternative ideas.
As the month of April winds down, remember that items in the 2021 -2022 Annual Catalog will be moving to retired status. Be sure to add your favorites to your shopping list before May 3rd. The items found in the January - June Mini Catalog will continue to be available until that catalog retires.
As always, please contact me with any questions concerning the retiring catalog and the current Mini catalog. If you wish to receive a catalog, please contact me at ceatingtreasures123@gmail.com
Thanks again for blog hopping with me!
