Do you sit and stamp haphazardly trying different color combinations? Do you like to make your own backgrounds? Are you new to stamping? Or, have you been away from stamping for a while and want to "get back into it"? If any of these are you, there's a new stampset made for you! The stamp set is "SENTIMENTAL SWIRLS"! It'll be released on January 3rd with the new January - May 2022 Mini Catalog.
To get your creative juices flowing...please look at the following cards:
As my favorite color combination is red and black, I just had to make the card shown above. Talk about simple! Basic Black and Real Red ink and coordinating card stock along with Very Vanilla card stock, Mini Ruffled Red Ribbon, and BAM! Card done in less than 10 minutes!
During ONSTAGE @ HOME held in August, the new stamp set, "Sentimental Swirls", was introduced by Sam Hammond, a Million Dollar Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. As soon as she started demonstrating the stamps, I was enticed. The stampset includes 27 stamps of which one is the major stamp that can be used as the center of your creation. There are also 26 additional stamps which you can use either. with the larger stamp or in a combination. You decide! No rules! Each card you make is unique! THIS is what stamping was meant to be.
The cards below use the Sentimental Swirls stamp set along with one of the new Designer Series Papers, "Daffodil Afternoon", which will be available on January 3rd, with the new mini catalog release. I used the largest stamp in the set and created areas for the smaller stamps. The Flowers and Leaves punch, (#155373) shown in the 2021 - 2022 Annual Catalog, was used to punch out the stamped flowers. The punch matches the flowers and leaves in the stamp set, so you may want to buy it, if you don't already have it. (I used the punched flowers and leaves to hide a mistake! Don't you just hate being almost done and, yuck, you smear the card).
I just added one of the sentiments included in the stamp set and the Garden Gem. And Bam...Done!
Below is a close up of the flowers. I used the Garden Gems at the center of each flower and the oval gems on the petals of the one flower. I love how these Garden Gems (#159277) work on so many projects.
The card below is an alternative to the one above. The same card stock and DSP, punched flowers and sentiment are used. However, I split the sentiment to make two lines and used Stampin' Up!'s Crystal Effects on the petals instead of gems.
During the month of January 2022, when you place an order for any amount, you will receive a Thank You card using this showcased stampset. And in January if you purchase the Sentimental Swirls stamp set on my online store, you will receive a kit which includes precut card stock and a FREE package of the Garden Gems.
Thank you so much for stopping at my blog. I would appreciate your leaving a comment on my cards presented here. And when you're ready to move to the next blog, you can hop to the next blog using the list below. Keep Hopping to the Blogs and Have Fun Creating Treasures!

EDEN'S GARDEN is the stamp set and dies I will be showcasing today. This set combines beautiful leafy flower combinations with unusual sentiments that provide elegance and simplicity. The suite is available for purchase now along with gorgeous designer series paper which have gold touches and sparkling gems to make your card a beautiful card to send or receive.
My card shown below uses three strips of the Designer Series Paper to provide color and design variety to the card. I used a portion of the paper's alternative side for the ombre effect. This allows for the horizontal gold banner and sentiment to be highlighted. And the gold thread provide a feeling of movement.
Customers who place a Stampin' Up order of any amount with me from November 14th to December 15th will receive a similar card as a thank you. In addition, if the order is over $50, a kit containing materials to create two addition cards using this stampset will be sent as a thank you. Please remember that I cannot provide stamped items per policy of Stampin' Up!
Materials to create the card shown above and directions to create the card are below after the list of additional blogs in our hop. Thank you so much for hoping with us. Your comments are so much appreciated.
1. Create vertical card base 5 1/2 inches by 4 1/4 inches. Fold to create vertical card, with fold at the top.
2. Cut Basic White cardstock 5 1/4 inches by 4 inches and glue to card base.
3. Cut piece of Ombre DSP 5 inches by 3 3/4 inches and glue to card base toward right side.
4. Cut other DSP into pieces 3/4 inches wide, 1/2 inches wide, and 3/8 inches wide. Place each piece in your order preference so larger pieces are on either side and thinner piece is between the larger ones. Glue in place on card base.
5. Stamp large flower and leaf using Soft Succulent ink on separate piece of Basic white cardstock and stamp sentiment at the same time. Fussy cut both stamped items.
6. Die cut piece of Gold foil with banner from die set. Glue or pop dot stamped flower/leaf on card base. Glue sentiment on gold banner. Pop dot banner on stamped flower/leaf.
7. Using Gold thread, create bow and using glue dot, place on card as preferred.
8. Add Garden Gems, if desired.
If you like all of the items of the suite, you can order the whole collection with one product number or you can select individual products for purchase as follows:

Today's card project uses the Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper and only three different Stampin' Up! cardstock colors. It's exciting that you can use this card template with papers from different Designer Series Paper packs along with various cardstock and embellishments to create different cards.
The card shown below uses Just Jade, Calypso Coral, and Basic White cardstock, one of my favorite embossing folder, sentiments and an easy flower die set.
The fold card begins with Just Jade cardstock cut 5 1/2 inches by 8 1/2 inches and is scored at 2 1/8 inches and at 4 1/4 inches. Fold the card where scored to create a "Z" fold as shown in the picture above.
Place a Basic White piece cut 3 1/4 inches by 5 inches on the main larger folded piece of Just Jade cardstock for the inside sentiment. You can stamp the sentiment on the inside either before gluing or afterward. I like leaving the inside blank until I'm ready to use the card. Sometimes, I just write my own message to the recipient on the inside at the time of sending.
Emboss a piece of Calypso Coral cardstock using the Tasteful Texture 3D Embossing Plate (Annual Catalog Page 155 #152718). I prefer to emboss a larger than needed piece of cardstock to assure that when I cut the appropriate size, which in this case is 3 3/4 inches by 5 inches, all of the area is embossed.
Place a piece of the flowery Sweet Symmetry Designer Paper cut 4 inches by 2 inches on top of a piece of the leaves Sweet Symmetry Designer Paper which is cut 4 1/2 inches by 2 1/2 inches. Then glue the matted piece to the Calypso Coral.
Making sure to put glue on only a portion of the back of the Calypso Coral, attach the coral embossed piece onto the outside fold piece. Stamp your sentiment onto a piece of Basic White cardstock measuring 3 3/4 inches by 1 1/2 inches, making sure to leave some area for the flower. Attach the sentiment and flower using dimentionals on to the card as shown.
If you place an order with me during the month of October, you will be receiving one of the cards shown above as a thank you for your order. And if your order is $25 or more, and you use my October hostess code [TC9HXA4W] you will also receive the October card kit.
Thank you so much for stopping by today!
