Silver to Silver Elite June Blog Hop

WELCOME!

Welcome to the initial blog hop for the Silver to Silver Elite Sisters.  We are made up of Stampin' UP demonstrators who have earned their Silver designation and are working toward the Elite status.  This is the first time I've participated in a blog hop as a demonstrator, so I'm hopeful this post has been successfully included.

For the Hop, I decided on using a unique fold and one of the most popular stamp sets shown in the new Annual Catalog (AC) for 2021 - 2022. I used the stamp set and dies bundle, Plentiful Plants (AC #155688) and coordinating Designer Series Paper (DSP) Bloom Where You're Planted (AC #1556960).

Below shows how the card front is divided so that the sentiment stamped inside peeks through to the front.  To keep the lower section connected to the top, I've used the hanging basket on the left side.  To keep the card sturdy, you may want to add a piece of window sheet (AC #142314) behind the front.  You will still see the sentiment inside. (I did not add for this photo, as the reflection would make it too difficult to see the card properly.)

The inside of the card is shown below. , where I used some of the brick DSP to coordinate with the front.  I LOVE that the DSP package contains 2 sheets of this brick paper and 2 sheets of light gray cement looking brick.  The DSP also has leaves and pots that can be easily cut with the dies.

Cardstock used in creating the card were Soft Succulent and Sahara Sand; inks used include Soft Succulent, Cinnamon Cider, Pear Pizazz, and Basic Black.

If you would like to receive instructions for creating this card, please enter your name and email address as indicated on the right sidebar.  Please be sure to include a comment referencing the "Welcome the New, Cherishing the Old" Blog Hop.

In addition, if you would like to receive information regarding my new Holiday Kits which will include cards and 3D projects, please note it.  If you prefer email, you may contact me at: creating treasures123@yahoo.com
